So, how does Blogger.com (or we can call it Google as Google is the parent company of Blogger.com) pay to their bloggers? Well, the answer to this question is pretty simple.
Blogger.com (or Google) pays its blogger by showing ads on their blogs posts, Google has an Advertising program named Google AdSense. Google AdSense is a program run by Google through which website publishers in the Google Network of content sites serve text, images, video, or interactive media advertisements that are targeted to the site content and audience. These advertisements are administered, sorted, and maintained by Google.
Bloggers need to monetize their Blogger pages/websites through Google AdSense. and Google AdSense adds some advertising in their Blogger posts/websites and whenever anyone views that post, Google AdSense ads are also shown along with the post content, which helps bloggers to earn from their Blogger posts/websites. Payment of Google AdSense for ads is based on the number of clicks on these ads. While this relates to views. Meaning, the more views you get, the more you earn.
The main problem faced by bloggers on Blogger.com is getting Google AdSense approval. Getting Google AdSense approval is a lot harder and small publishers/bloggers or bloggers who are new in this field can't get Google AdSense approval easily. As Google AdSense approval requirements are very high. and every blogger of Blogger.com has to complete those requirements in order to get Google AdSense approval on their Blogger.com website/blog.

Well, there are many other alternatives of Google AdSense too like Media.net (by Bing and Yahoo), Adztune, Ezmob, and much more (you can check out our Ad Network posts where we have given details about several Google AdSense alternatives for small publishers.) Google AdSense doesn't pay based on views of an ad, instead, they use a cost-per-click (CPC) payment system. Whenever someone from your audience clicks on one of Google AdSense's targeted ads, you receive a portion of the payment. Whenever a user clicks on an ad, the publisher receives 68 percent of the payment.
But Google AdSense is not the only way for bloggers to earn money from their Blogger.com website/blog, there are several other ways too, to earn from Blogger.com website/blog like -
- Affiliate Marketing
- Selling Stuff
- Donations
- Accepting Sponsorships, and much more...
